We arranged for GWH Kitchens from Lawson, to help us design, then contracted them to install a complete re-fit of a new kitchen in our 1930's Katoomba cottage. Despite nothing being completely square - Brett & Lachlan did an absolutely fantastic job with the install. They were punctual, always very communicative and worked in with our ideas for the kitchen. They cleaned up after each day to help us manage throughout the re-build. We are so pleased that GWH Kitchens were recommended to us. Meet Trevor and Brett

Our two principals bring combined experience of over 50 years to every job, ensuring every aspect of your project – from design to installation to clean up – meets your standards and theirs.

Trevor Brown

Trevor has extensive experience in cabinet-making and business studies. Together with his partner Doraine, they established GWH Kitchens in order to fund many successful community projects. Trevor has personal experience of living with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), resulting in him working with and in the disability services sector. This has given him experience of and insight into the gaps in service by providers in the field.

Brett Bates

Brett brings over 25 years experience to GWH Kitchens, across both the kitchen and shopfitting industries. Brett’s has partnered with a number of Sydney’s leading architects, designers and builders across that time, to deliver the highest quality cabinet making and detailed joinery to his customers.

Our Profits Help Support Community Initiatives

At GWH Kitchens we believe in good work. So beyond kitchen remodelling and business renovation, we support – and often provide – a range of services to help community causes.

Respite Tours

Respite Tours was established in 1998 with the financial backing of GWH Kitchens. The service is non-profit, providing social and recreational programs for adults with learning difficulties and Acquired Brain Injury.

“Trevor’s House” Nepal

Trevor has travelled extensively in Nepal, and saw the need to provide accommodation and support for homeless children. The project houses 15 children and funds staff members to run the home. Having a home that provides a warm and safe environment for these kids means they can continue to flourish and grow.
